What you see on screen
Type a brief answer per question using passage words, within a limit like NO MORE THAN THREE WORDS. The questions follow the passage order.
How it is marked
One mark per question, using exact passage words with correct spelling. Numbers count as one word and hyphenated words count as one.
Strategy
- Convert the question word, who, where, how many, into the answer type you are hunting.
- Trust the order rule: the next answer appears after the previous one, so scan forwards only.
- Lift the exact passage words; paraphrasing yourself risks spelling and word-limit errors.
- Count hyphenated words as one when measuring against the stated limit.
Traps that cost marks
Adding a unit or article that pushes the answer past the limit and voids it.
Answering from background knowledge when the passage phrases the fact differently.
