White-label IELTS platform: what institutes get today
White label IELTS platform for institutes: what CD IELTS Prep offers today — CD mock tests, instant marking, an institute workspace — and what it does not.
A white-label IELTS platform is practice software an institute gives its students instead of building its own. CD IELTS Prep is not fully white-labelled: students use it under the CD IELTS Prep name. What an institute gets is a ready computer-delivered mock test platform, instant Listening and Reading marking, AI Writing and Speaking feedback and a workspace in its own name, set up for it with nothing to build or host.
Why institutes look for a white-label platform
Building computer-delivered IELTS software is a large job: an exam interface that behaves like the real test, timed sections, audio that plays once, answer keys and band conversion, writing feedback, accounts and progress tracking — and a steady supply of original test content to put inside it.
That is why institutes look for a finished platform instead. The usual wish list mixes two different things: what students need on day one, which is realistic practice with marking, and branding the institute would like to have, such as its own logo and domain.
Separate the two before you compare platforms. The first is what CD IELTS Prep does today; the checklist below is exact about the second.
What an institute gets today
Everything in this table exists on the platform today. Nothing here is a roadmap promise.
| What you need | What CD IELTS Prep does today |
|---|---|
| A finished exam interface | Full Listening, Reading and Writing mocks for IELTS Academic and General Training in the computer-delivered layout, plus practice days, drills and Speaking sets. |
| Marking without building a scoring engine | Instant Listening and Reading marking with band conversion and answer review; AI marking against the four official Writing criteria, with an estimated band for each; AI feedback on each Speaking answer, shown as a band range. |
| A space for your institute | An institute workspace headed with your organisation's name: seats in use, each student's latest band per skill, who needs attention, attempt history, and teacher band adjustment for Writing and Speaking. Your institute name is printed on student reports. Owner access to the workspace comes with your institute; extra staff logins are added by our team on request. |
| Data kept to your institute | Your workspace belongs to your institute alone; staff at another institute cannot open it or see who is seated in yours. |

How it works for your students
We set up your institute
Your institute workspace is created in your organisation's name with owner access. Extra staff logins are added by our team on request.
Students join
Each student creates a free account, and we attach it to your institute, which unlocks the full library on it.
Students practise and sit mocks
Mocks run in the computer-delivered layout under real section timing, with practice days and drills between them.
Marking happens on its own
Listening and Reading are marked the moment students submit; Writing gets its criterion-by-criterion AI estimate.
Students follow their progress
Each student's score reports and dashboard show their band by skill and a study plan, and your teachers see the same bands, attempt history and who needs attention in the workspace.
What it does not do
- No custom logo, colours or domain on the student interface.
- Your staff cannot upload their own tests or questions into the test library; they can share notes, links and files, and assign tests from the CD IELTS Prep library.
- Institute setup is done with our team, not through a self-serve sign-up, so access starts after we have talked.
- Teachers can adjust Writing and Speaking bands, but not Listening or Reading, which come from the answer key. Every band, teacher-set or not, is a practice estimate and not an official IELTS result.
- Speaking feedback for students is AI feedback on each recorded answer, shown as a band range rather than a final score. A teacher can set the Speaking band after reading the transcript; recordings are not stored. The real Speaking test is a live interview with an examiner.
Frequently asked questions
What is a white-label IELTS platform?
Ready-made IELTS practice software that an institute offers to its own students, usually under the institute's brand, instead of building and hosting an exam system itself.
Is CD IELTS Prep a white-label platform?
Not fully. Institutes get their own workspace and student seats on a finished computer-delivered platform, but students use it under the CD IELTS Prep name and domain, and custom logos or domains are not offered today.
Can we add our own questions or mock tests?
Not currently. All material comes from the CD IELTS Prep library of full mocks, practice days, drills, the writing bank and Speaking sets.
Can staff at another institute see our students?
No. Your institute workspace belongs to your institute alone, and staff at another institute cannot open it or see who is seated in yours.
How is pricing worked out?
Contact us for institute pricing. Each student seat costs the same as an individual Pro plan, with free bonus seats on larger groups, so we confirm the exact seats and length with you rather than publishing a price list.
Is CD IELTS Prep the official IELTS test?
No. CD IELTS Prep is an independent practice platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the British Council, IDP Education or Cambridge University Press & Assessment. Bands on the platform are practice estimates, not official IELTS results.
